Kerala Jamhiyathul Ulama (KJU)

This is the first Ulama (Religious Scholars) organization in Kerala. It is formed in the year of 1924 in a meeting held at Aluway under the leadership of K.M.Moulavi, M.C.C. Abdu Rahman Moulavi and E.K.Moulavi. It guides the Muslim Community in Kerala through the light of Holy QURAN and SUNNAH Shareef in accordance with ‘Salafi Manhaj’ (The path of the Salafu Salih). It tries its best to eradicated superstitious belief and deeds prevailed among the Muslim Community in Kerala, and alert them against the greatest indulgence (Shirk) and Bidaa (new items added to Islam).

Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (K N M)

Jam-Iyyathul Ulama, to great extent was confined within the limits of religious scholars. Therefore, tens of hundreds of ordinary Islahi workers had no platform to coordinate each other in respect of spreading the Thouheedi movement. So a popular Islahi Organization, which represents all grades of the community, had become a must and as such, KERALA NADVATHUL MUJAHIDEEN (KNM) was formed on 20th of April 1950, under the leadership of (Late) K M Moulavi. K M Moulavi was nominated as its first president. KNM, later was registered with RABITHATHUL ALAMIL ISLAMI (MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE) at Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and soon after KNM was in touch with the rank of file, which enabled to function tens of hundreds of KNM units throughout Kerala, through which the scholars could widen their propaganda of Thouheed in the light of Quran & Hadith.

The organization itself assumed the name "Mujahid Movement" on the basis of its work against all evils, superstitious beliefs and against all Bidah (innovations) made in Islam by the latter selfish group. The organization is utilizing all of its resources to root out all Shirk and Bidah from the Muslim community and to bring them in the right path which the Qura'n and Sunnath Showed. This work is actually a war against the established mislead ideas among Muslims and it itself is, of course in the first instance, a war against oneself; ones own self-minded and body interest. Actually, "Jihad" means, "war against all evils in the way of Allah, the Almighty". Therefore, the word "Mujahid" should not be synonymously spelt with other "Mujahid Movements" through out the world, which relates to one or the other terrorist movement.

 BISMI (Board Of Islamic Service And Missionary Information)

This wing of KNM is organized to assist the society with proper guidance and service in socio-cultural fronts, in accordance with the true teachings of Islam. There is no doubt, need for guidance in many a walks of life and a prioritized agenda should be maintained to meet with these needs.

However, as necessitated by situations, for many years BISMI has been focusing its facilities to fight the evil practices associated with marriage and family life. Due to the evils in practice, conditions grew so worse that marriage became only a daydream for a large number of poor girls, or in other cases married life proved to be a term of tortures.

BISMI has been actively campaigning to enlighten the society against the anti-social and anti-Islamic factors that has been predominant in Muslim marriages in Kerala like dowry, extravagance and fancy for gold and ornaments. Also it has been effectively organizing ideal marriage congregations, in which a number of couples enter into wed locks at the same venue. Conducted in strict accordance with Islamic principles and practices, these marriages are noted for high degrees of modesty and low levels of expenses. No dowry demanded or received by the male partners, nor financial status of the girls considered, no gold and ornaments encouraged nor pompous shows and extravagance executed and not innovated customs anticipated. The only concern is for ideological identity of both sides.

BISMI provides proper guidance through seminars, study classes, books and cassettes so as to help maintaining a peaceful and pleasurable family life as divinely designed by Allah the Almighty and perfectly performed by His messenger (PBUH)

Due to the great impact of BISMI’s activities, the term BISMI marriage is nowadays used synonymous to any modest and ideal marriage celebrations among the Muslims of Kerala. Responding to the call of BISMI many a youth have come forward to vow that they would not demand or receive any dowry when they would marry. We have many more numbers of poor religious girls nurturing their dreams about a happy married life, waiting for someone to come forward without monitory demands. BISMI would like to listen from those brave and god fearing ones who are ready to marry not for monitory gains.

Ithihadu Shubbanul Mujahideen(ISM)

Every thing that glitters is not gold" is not known to most youth. Vagabonding behind new things is inborn in youths. The youth psychology is not an exception to this. Youths are the strength of every organization and directing this strength to the right rout is a difficult job. The Mujahid movement made adequate care to monitor this power towards the propagation of Da'wa. Mujahid youths were engaged in all annual meeting of the erstwhile "Aikaya Sangam" and in the live Kerala Naduvathul Mujahideen as volunteers.

In 1966, K.N.M. formed its youth wing named as Ithihadu Shubbanil Mujahideen (ISM), with a view to equip them to take up the responsibilities of the old when they retire from their active works. I.S.M within a short span could succeed in sprouting up the message of Thouheed in the minds of young generation.

Mujahid Students' Movement (MSM)

Students are the architects of the future in every society and country and without whom the future of the community will be sunk into the oblivion. Modern students are passing through uncertainties and indefiniteness due to the lack of faith in the Almighty of Allah.

At the initial stage, students were allowed to co-operate with I.S.M. The Students wing of I.S.M was known as ISM-SW. Due to the practical difficulties and decentralization of Dawa work among the students, K.N.M decided to form a separate wing by name MUJAHID STUDENTS MOVEMENT( M.S.M) in 1971.

M.S.M started propagating the Islamic ideals and principles among the student community in the campuses of colleges and schools, and they could prevent a large number of students from the falling pray to the erroneous beliefs, ideologies and doctrines and to inculcate in them moral and spiritual education
